FULL ITINERARY
If you wish to try something different from the usual Hue shore excursion, join us for a fun and informative Hue cooking class. You will be introduced to the world of Vietnamese culinary flavors. No prior cooking skill is required to attend the class – just a love for Vietnamese food is enough!
Be picked up by our driver and tour guide at the port entrance gate. Start your Hue shore excursion with a cyclo ride to the bustling Dong Ba Market to purchase fresh meat, fish, and vegetables for your cooking class afterward.
Back to your cyclo and continue on to Toa Kham Wharf where you will board the King Dragon boat along the Perfume River en route to Hen Islet. During the two-hour cooking class, your professional chef will show you how to prepare the dishes before you get to cook yourself. Sample your own creations afterward and get ready for your drop-off at Toa Kham wharf.
Continue on to visit the Imperial Citadel and Forbidden City, built in the 19th century for the Emperors of the Nguyen Dynasty. Complete the tour with a visit to a unique garden house where you can strike up a conversation with the owner over a cup of Hue Imperial Tea. Head back to Chan May port in good time for departure in the afternoon. Trip ends. Thanks for traveling with Vietnam Shore Excursions!
