Hon Trong Mai
These are two small islands that resemble a rooster and hen, each about 12 meters high and facing the other. It appears as though the two islands are beading affectionately toward one another. Trong Mai island takes on the appearance of a massive fish struggling in the middle of the sea as the boat sails gently by. I turned to look behind me as soon as the train went by, and the shape of a couple of love chickens had disappeared, replaced by the outline of a swimming fish. A representation of Ha Long Bay tourism is Hon Trong Mai. This location was also selected in 2000 to represent Vietnamese travel.
