FULL ITINERARY
Be picked up by our driver and tour guide at the port entrance gate. Your Saigon sightseeing jeep tour starts with a visit to the Reunification Palace, the former residence of the President of South Vietnam until the end of the war in April 1975. Next, explore the city’s French colonial landmarks, including Notre Dame Cathedral and the Old Central Post Office, designed by the renowned architect Gustave Eiffel in the late 19th century. These structures exemplify French colonial design. Afterward, head to the War Remnants Museum, which features exhibits related to the American phase of the Vietnam War.
After our delicious lunch at a good local restaurant, the tour continues with visits to Chinatown, Thien Hau Pagoda. Next, visit Ben Thanh Market, a bustling marketplace in the heart of Ho Chi Minh City. As one of the city’s oldest structures, it is a symbol of Saigon, popular with tourists for its local handicrafts, textiles, Ao Dai, souvenirs, and local cuisine. Return to the port to board the cruise and continue your shore trip. The trip ends. Thanks for traveling with Vietnam Shore Excursions!
